For 30 years, Rocky Mountain Hoist Services Inc. our technicians have provided proof load testing of cranes and hoists in Gillette, WY and throughout Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Western Nebraska. Each technician is certified and factory trained and will ensure your equipment is functioning properly.
What Does a Load Test Entail?
It’s critically important to make sure your equipment is in good working order before it’s put into service. Test loads shall not be more than 110 percent of the rated load, unless otherwise noted by the manufacturer. We test the following functions:
Trolley travel
Bridge travel
Locking and safety devices
Hoisting and lowering
Mobile Testing
We have a portable load test stand that allows us to proof test manual or hand operated hoists at our client’s job site.
